Our founder, John Baxter, was an avid skier and ski instructor.  He loved teaching children the joy of snow sports.  After moving to North Georgia, John developed PowderPak synthetic snow products in 1984 to continue his passion year-round.  He worked with local schools to set up ski ramps, using PowderPak to teach kids how to ski and snowboard.  Since then, thousands of children have learned to ski on PowderPak.

 

Over 30 years later, the PowderPak™ brand has expanded to a worldwide market, becoming the number one choice for synthetic snow surfaces everywhere.  In addition to installing year-round snowtubing slopes, tobagganing runs and ski jumps in nearly every state in the USA, PowderPak has designed and constructed facilities in the Domincan Republic, Puerto Rico, and Europe.  A decade ago, we expanded into the southern hemisphere with our partner PowderPak Parks in Australia.
